Gregorio León was born and raised in Cambridge, Massachusetts. From an early age he's had a love for all things historic, mythic, and fantastical. While attending Emerson College, he had the opportunity to intern with the Emmy-nominated Vital Pictures, and industry-leading Northern Lights Productions. 

 

He graduated cum laude with a BA in Visual & Media Arts Production in 2020. His senior thesis for the school's Honors Program won high distinction, and was subsequently adapted into an article for Truthout.

Since then he's been working as a freelance director, editor, cinematographer, set designer, animator, and photographer - collaborating with municipal historians, regional orchestras, nonprofits, theatre troupes, and international string quartets on a wide variety of projects.
